1. Overview of the Service

ShopDancehall is an online marketplace that connects fans with dancehall and reggae artists for personalized services. We act as a facilitator between fans ("Buyers") and artists ("Sellers") and do not directly provide artist services. ShopDancehall also operates a merchandise store offering branded products and artist-related merchandise.

2. Service Requests

When you submit a service request (e.g., dubplate, feature, custom voicing, performance booking), your request is considered non-binding until the artist confirms acceptance. Artists have full discretion to accept or decline any request. Once an artist confirms a request, the terms of that specific engagement (including timeline and deliverables) are established between you and the artist, with ShopDancehall serving as the intermediary.

3. Pricing & Payment

Pricing for artist services is set by the individual artists and displayed on the Site at the time of your request. All payments are invoiced by ShopDancehall and processed through our secure payment system. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. You agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with your order.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

• The artist fails to deliver the requested service within the agreed-upon timeframe.
• The delivered service materially differs from what was agreed upon and confirmed.
• Technical issues on our end prevent delivery of the service.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the expected delivery date. Merchandise refunds follow standard e-commerce return policies — items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 30 days. To request a refund, contact us at support@shopdancehall.com.

5. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as necessary.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Site. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent requests or payment information.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten artists or other users.
• Upload or transmit content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Site without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including logos, text, graphics, images, and software — is the property of ShopDancehall or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Artist-created content delivered through our services remains the intellectual property of the respective artist unless otherwise agreed upon.

8. Limitation of Liability

ShopDancehall acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of services provided by artists. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShopDancehall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a Buyer and a Seller, ShopDancehall will make reasonable efforts to mediate and resolve the issue. However, we are not obligated to resolve disputes and our decision in any mediation is final. Any legal disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShopDancehall operates.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Site at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Site, or third parties.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
